What is NODESS?
NODESS (Node for Promoting Social and Solidarity Economy) is an initiative of the National Institute of Social Economy (INAES) that seeks to create collaboration networks between communities, educational institutions and organizations to strengthen productive projects with social and cultural impact.
In our case, NODESS is made up of the Pixan Chenes Cooperative, UPIIT of the National Polytechnic Institute, the Suc Tuc Community High School, the Xcupil Commissariat in Campeche, and the Tierra Fértil Civil Association of Tlaxcala.
Together we work to unite academic knowledge, community organization and social solidarity, in order to generate development opportunities that respect cultural identity, boost the local economy and promote collective well-being.
